It’s a true partnership between Peterborough Utilities and your organization. You choose as many of our MSP services as you want, creating a customized solution that’s perfect for you.

As the MSP, we perform the following functions:

  • providing MSP and administrative services;
  • registering your wholesale meter points with the IMO;
  • performing the commissioning, testing and maintenance of your wholesale meter points;
  • maintaining an inventory of replacement main and alternate meters; and
  • responding and resolving MTRs (Meter Trouble Reports).

You and your staff may do some or all of:

  • acquiring the metering components;
  • installing the metering equipment;
  • acquiring and storing the spare instrument transformers in accordance with market rules; and/or
  • acting as the first line of support and response for MTRs.
